Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan is the best Star Trek film? Quite possibly. It's certainly one of the more entertaining entries in the series, and not just for Star Trek and science fiction fans. This is a film for everybody.
It doesn't go over the line by not having any science fiction in it hardly at all like the remake and its sequel, but it also isn't too action-oriented. It's a perfect balance with much more for the characters that we know and love to do.
Everyone shines in this, and the fact that it's a sequel to an episode of the original series is cool in and of itself. If you haven't seen this entry, whether you're a Star Trek fan or not, you should definitely check it out.
