Review of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982) by Christian P — 22 Dec 2013
I just watched Star Trek II for the first time in a long time and for the first time on DVD, It's the first time I've seen the widescreen image since I saw it in the theater in 1982, so my viewing has the feel of seeing it fresh and new even though I still have every line of dialogue memorized from countless viewings on HBO and VHS.
The movie holds up as a satisfying piece of sci-fi melodrama. The cast of the original series seems more at home in their old roles than they did in the previous Star Trek movie.
