Review of Star Trek: Generations (1994) by Tj D — 22 Apr 2008
While not a horrible movie, it could have been better. And actually, I really wasn't buying the plot when we get to the point where Picard enters the Nexsis, and there's Guinan, but she's not Guinan, o wait, she's here and back there... And then Picard and Kirk go back, but Picard's original self isn't there.
And what in the world was up with the uniforms? We started with the uniforms from TNG, then throughout the film, different characters started wearing the DS9 uniforms periodically... weird.
Then we have a situation, a lot like we've had before in the series... only Geordi, instead of trying to fix the problem yell out, "Warp Core breach there' nothing I can do" and we loose the ship. That was kind of lame!
But still, it's not a horrible movie, like ST5 was.
