Review of Star Trek: Generations (1994) by Vance W — 27 May 2008
The two captains together - SWEET!!! Kirk's death was well-handled. Still, the story left something to be desired. I love Data, but the whole emotion chip storyline became a tad obnoxious before the end of the film.
His charm was that of the emotionless machine who somehow managed to show emotion anyway, and this effort spoiled that. It was a character killer. And it's becoming harder and harder to believe that Riker is still a commander after all this time.
