Review of Star Trek: Generations (1994) by Bruce O — 02 May 2009
To me, the only thing that saved this movie was that Shatner reprised his role as Kirk to hand off the torch to Picard...Never been a real big fan of the "Next Generation" crew, but it was a good introduction to the characters if you weren't familiar with the T.
V. series. Overall, it was an alright movie. The story was original and different, but at the same time it could be a little confusing only seeing it once. I have seen this quite a few times during my (every once in a while) Star Trek movie marathons.
..lol...So it's worth checkin out. But an amazing Star Trek film, it is not. This film is noted as being "The Death of Captain Kirk"...So in that respect, it's a must see for fans of "Kirk and crew".
