The passing of the torch film from the original cast to the TNG cast is a mixed uneven film. The opening sequence is decent, if clearly flawed, and the rest of the film can't seem to find where it wants to go.

Data gets ANNOYING, and I can only say of the plot: and old man wants an energy ribbon. All in all the film leads to a fist fight on a rickety old bridge with rickety old men. all this being said, the film is watchable if you are a Trek fan.
