Review of Star Trek: Generations (1994) by Rick S — 25 May 2010

Kirk deserved better. Although this film is very watchable yet it suffers from the ol' shoehorning of the old crew passing the torch to the crew that had been delivering better Trek for years already.

I really love parts of this movie, but when I am honest with myself I didn't enjoy myself very much with this one. I want to complain about the crashing Enterprise effects because they are really very substandard and bad.

At the time ILM had done the crash as model work, of coarse now days it would all be C.G. I try to forget about this one and watch another fine Star Trek film instead.
