Review of Star Trek: Generations (1994) by Gareth N — 09 Oct 2010
A sad farewell to Kirk in this lacklustre 'handover' in the movie world between the 2 main Enterprise captains. While Malcolm McDowell makes a top cinema baddie, this is a feeble script (oh come on- a 70 year gap between events and McDowell and Goldberg don't age a day?) and Kirks departure deserves more.
The whole concept of The Nexus is as shonky as Shatners Godhunt in Star Trek V and this comes over as a kneejerk reaction to cash in on a fanboys wish list.
