Review of Star Trek: Generations (1994) by Dan E — 19 Dec 2010
"They say time is the fire in which we burn!!".
Despite all the plot holes related to "the nexus" (why doesn't Picard go back a week instead of 30 seconds before the villain blows up the sun?) and the rubbish sendoff for Kirk, I still really like this film. Lots to like and some cool set peices. Plus it's good to see a Next Gen film for the first time and Shatner is as charismatic as ever. If you can overlook some of the stupider plot points it's a very enjoyable Trek movie.
