Review of Star Trek: Generations (1994) by Jason D — 10 Jan 2010
Yes, I know that the odd numbered Star Trek films do worser than the even numbered films (ex: Star Trek V), but this one is an exception. I mean, it isn't the absolute best one in the series, but it's an entertaining one.
I'd say that it is TNG's version of the Search for Spock. The best part is when Kirk and Picard finally meet. This could've been bigger, as this whole movie could've been. I believe that Kirk should've had a larger role (even as the film focuses on the Next Generation crew) and his death was handled badly.
Still, this is a good film.
