I agree this one starts off great and slightly goes downhill after that, but those who enjoy this film will remember how exciting it was for the bridge between TOS and TNG to finally be completed... even if it didn't go over quite the way you expected it.

It was awesome seeing the TNG cast on the big screen for the first time, and luckily their subsequent films would be more enjoyable. As far as the "adieu" for Kirk, yeah... not the biggest fan myself.

I think Priceline now owns the right to Shatner's very soul, too.
