Review of Star Trek: Generations (1994) by Jordan W — 10 May 2009

I was reminded of this one because the storyline presented here is what is responsible for "Kirk Prime" not being in the new movie -- which yes, I think is a bad thing. Having Shatner and Nimoy back together in one last Trek film? Absolutely. Another crime laid at the feet of Rick Berman and company.

So what do I remember about this movie? The implicit flashing NIMOY REFUSED TO DO THIS, SO YOU'LL HAVE TO SETTLE FOR WALTER KOENIG sign, Kirk being stuck in the deadly dull egg-frying universe, and the most anticlimactic death of one of the most iconic pop-lit figures ever.

Feh.
