Review of Star Trek: Generations (1994) by Prkprk P — 23 Jul 2009

If you're going to kill of Captain Kirk, make a better fucking movie. This movie isn't all that bad but it fucking pisses me off. Captain Kirk disappears off a starship in the beginning leading everyone to believe that he's dead, and that's how he leaves his crew? Lost in space? That's a disappointing end for the great Captain Kirk.

Then he is magically transported to the future just as a set up so he can meet Captain Picard, and meet a heroic death. But none of his friends will ever know what really happened to him. They should've just made this movie about The Next Generation crew and left it at that.

Although I will say it was pretty fucking awesome to see Captain Picard and Captain Kirk together, and to see The Next Generation crew get their own movie. But it could've been a lot fucking better.

Thank god the next one is great, where the Borg rape Data.
