Review of Star Trek: Generations (1994) by Rachel F — 07 Sep 2009
It is a pleasure to review this film. Far and away my favorite of all ST films, and unquestionably the one with the most heart, Generations truly does span ST generations. The only place you can find Cpts Kirk and Picard in the same film, and it is marvelous to see them working together.
Meanwhile, the villain is well-played and utterly believable. Who wouldn't want to stay in the Nexxus, where all your hopes and dreams are realized? This film has action, time travel, and emotional drama to spare.
Truly epic. Unless you only watch ST for people fighting and blowing each other up, this film is a true treasure. I will always love it.
