Review of Star Trek: Generations (1994) by Ken P — 01 Jan 2010
It isn't quite as bad as other odd numbered Star Trek films, but it certainly doesn't escape that theme. Somewhat contrived, Star Trek VII, or Generations if you prefer, is hampered by an over-romanticized view of the old and the new changing hands.
Overall, it's somewhat lethargic and lacking emotional connection and firmly rests in the mediocre tier of Star Trek films.
