Review of Star Trek: First Contact (1996) by Doug F — 12 May 2009
First Contact is actually an amazing Sci-fi film and one of the best, if the THE best, Star Trek movie. Updating the Borg to be more menacing than ever, as well as the addition of the Borg Queen, we have an old villain for fresh eyes.
It's well balanced for sure. While overall, it's very dark and suspenseful, we were blessed with a more lighthearted story arch surrounding James Cromwell, who really stole to show as the often drunk Zefram Cochrane.
