Holy crap, what a ridiculous vortex of overblown chaos. Been a fan for 52 years, but this was just unbearable. I could nit-pick all day, but now the Enterprise leaves a bow wave in the vacuum of space during warp runs?! Phasers sound more like handguns, people still wearing platform shoes in the depths of outer space 300+years from now? Shields no longer provide any protection, the ship (disc only )still flies with out engineering, engines, riddled with holes, and manages to crash-land in one piece!!?? Blech!! A great movie if you want loud, incoherent mayhem for 2+ hours.
