Review of Star Trek Beyond (2016) by Sean G — 29 Sep 2016
The most Star Trek of the new Star Trek films. Balances the big 21st century action overkill with the character moments. Writer Simon Pegg gives himself the most room to be a character/fun/cheeky.
Has a few moments of political commentary, pitting the humanism of the Federation ideals against the need, of some, to be powerful and solitary/exclusionary.
