I found Star Trek Beyond to be hard to follow and frenetic. While the two previous movies of this reboot series were original and exciting, it seemed both Spock and McCoy spent a lot of time trying to sound like the Spock and McCoy of the TV series.
I was disappointed after the hype I heard.
