Review of Star Trek Beyond (2016) by Joel H — 28 Oct 2016
Star Trek Beyond feels a lot sillier than its predecessors. It's still fun, but it almost crosses the line into campy. The main cast is strong, even if the villain is mostly forgettable. Even though I still wouldn't consider myself a Trekkie, I enjoy this rebooted series, and I think that the franchise still has a couple more sequels left in it.
