Review of Star Trek Beyond (2016) by Tom S — 13 Nov 2016

After the success of the first two films I had high hopes for this one... it's awful. This is what happens when the key infouence in making the film good goes off to direct Star Wars and leaves a CGI obsessed bacon in charge.

So about 3 million spaceships attack the enterprise then at the base there are about ten ships holding an army of 15 starfleet officers guarded by 8 bad aliens. Urm... Ok. Well what about the other sub plots emerging? An annoying alien living on its own happens to have cloaking technology on a mass scale so they can help the crew.

Then the cringe of watching the beasty boys being used in a scene of utter ridiculousness. Bah I'm so annoyed by this dire film and look how many people like it?! Whaaaaattt?!
