Review of Star Trek Beyond (2016) by David C — 02 Feb 2017
With an excellent reinvention by JJ Abrams, the franchise got off to a great start and then dipped in quality with the second one. The third and latest space adventure is somewhat a return to form in some respects, but still lacks in others.
Although it is a fun ride, it might need a more dynamic screenplay, along with less hammy acting and more character development next time. However, can't wait for the new series to start next year.
