Review of Star Trek Beyond (2016) by Jason S — 06 Sep 2016

Don't let the disappointment of Into Darkness fool you, this is a return to the fun and sci fi action that made the initial reboot so great. It's a fun film full of classic references and exciting characters.

The film's antagonist feels a little underdeveloped and some of the scenes have a little bit of a "been there done that" feel but overall it's a blast and seeing Spock and Bones go on a side quest together was a blast.
