Review of Star Trek Beyond (2016) by Philip W — 10 Oct 2016
One of my favorite third installments of all time (save LOTR), Star Trek follows up an impressive film, Into Darkness as we see the Enterprise crew in a drastic environment fighting for survival. The best part in my opinion is the fighting style of the enemy as a whole.
They use a tactic of large, yet individualized numbers as they incorporate suicidal tactics when first attacking the Enterprise, something we've hardly ever seen in film. Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto shine once again and lead a balanced cast through another interesting, action packed adventure, leaving us with more excitement for the 4th film that'll star Chris Hemsworth as Captain Kurk's father.
