Review of Star Trek Beyond (2016) by Seven T — 29 Nov 2016
"Star Trek Beyond" has to be one of the worst movies ever made.
First it was filled with the usual absolute politically correct BS that is standard for Hollywood these days. You know men weak, women strong. Non white race superior to white male. Universal government controlled by the elite good, diversity good, military bad etc. etc.
Second it paid absolutely no attention to any sort of plausible physical reality, making it impossible to suspend disbelief and finally the story line was uninspired, awful, predictable and insulting to one's personal intelligence.
These people spend tens of millions of dollars on special effects, why not spend a few million on a top notch science fiction author who can write a consistent and interesting plot line? It never happens. The producers always get a family member or some crony from their witch's coven to write the plot lines for them.
We know that the purpose of Star Trek, from the beginning, was to promote globalism and one world government, but at least try to make it interesting. This is just another installment of Chinese controlled Hollywood. Get used to trash folks.
