This was by far the worst Star Trek of the JJ Abrams reboots. The first two movies were excellent and 5 stars in my opinion, but this movie was the opposite. Any episode from The Next Generation would have been a better story than this movie.
The blame has to be put on Justin Lin since he directed it. Obviously JJ Abrams was too busy with Star Wars to make sure this third installment was as good as the first two.
