Review of Star Trek (2009) by Mauricio D — 04 May 2014
JJ Abrams does what no one though possible: reinvigorate Star Trek while still staying faithful to the spirit and characters of the much-loved original show. All the actors are perfectly cast, especially Quinto as Spock, and Abrams manages to bring all the whizz-bang space-set action and thrill-ride urgency of Star Wars to the more staid and cerebral Trek.
I just wish that the lovely Eric Bana's handsome face wasn't covered under all those tattoos and that Neanderthal forehead.
