The plot was ridiculous, yet the overall film was outstanding. I was major skeptic on this reboot during the time of its release in theaters, yet it turned out to be both charismatic, colorful, and inventive filled with strange nuanced ideas to keep the audience engaged.
The world of a rebooted Star Trek was well imagined incorporating all the favorite characters of the original series.
