Review of Star 80 (1983) by Bruno L — 24 May 2010
Good. It reminded me "Boogie Nights." If people could see past the origin of the subject matter, however, they'd recognize this film more as a treatise on the sexual mores of the period and the darker machinations of celebrity.
It's actually a horror movie where the characters slowly but surely spiral out of control towards the inevitable, dramatic ending.
