Review of Star 80 (1983) by Movie-Buff — 29 Dec 2017
Worst of the original Saga but better than anything Disney. Return of the Jedi's biggest problem is it's pacing and tone changes. Cutting between the best space battle of the OT and the Luke/Vader/Emperor scenes which are some of the best in the Saga, with the deeply boring, stupid, and annoying scenes in Jabba's Palace and with Ewoks.
Consistency could have saved the film.
