Review of Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures (2001) by Mark F — 07 Jun 2007
It's an absolutely brilliant documentary on the life of the greatest director of all time (who, as the movie laments, never won an oscar for his efforts). The commentary on Eyes Wide Shut is particularly apt and helpful for those Kubrick fans who are adverse to his final film.
The ending montage set to "The Women on Ireland" always makes me cry.
