Review of Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures (2001) by J M — 10 Jan 2008
A really wonderful look into who Stanley Kubrick truly was. It's really enlightening. It helps to erase the idea that he was some sort of freak that lived in a cave while churning out heartless films about the downfall of humanity.
He was a much loved and wonderful human being who really, really loved cats. Also, one of the few times I've liked Tom Cruise, because his love for Kubrick so clearly shines through the entire documentary.
A must for Kubrick fans, and if you have the AWESOME box set released a few months ago, I'm sure you've already watched this.
