This movie flat out sucked. Directed by Martin Ritt, it lacked a good screenplay. The story is too predictable and ordinary. Performances are fine, but nothing special. Only reason I saw it was because of Robert De Niro.
A stereotypical (lame) American movie, no idea why De Niro did it.
