Review of Stand Up Guys (2012) by Rob B — 01 Feb 2013
A great story about two men who "live like they were dying". As crass as it is humorous, and for a comedy, these characters are extremely well developed. Christopher Walken gives us another blackly comedic performance after the brilliantly sardonic "Seven Psychopaths", and Al Pacino's performance was as funny and introspective as we've come to expect from the legendary actor.
There are very few dull moments in this one, and the plot, despite its hilarious moments, has depth in it for those who care to see it.
