Review of Stand Up Guys (2012) by Richard B — 07 Jan 2014

This film has a great cast and the all three definitely fit their roles perfectly and they don't phone it in too much, especially Walken who is great in this. The plot is pretty simple and some of the subplots are pretty pointless and don't go anywhere.

I'm glad this is a shorter film as if it was any longer I probably would have gotten sick of it, but its short runtime helps. This film probably could have been better with a few rewrites and maybe a more established director to make his film stand above just being average.
