Personally, one of my favorite Stephen King adaptations from one of my favorite novella called "Different Seasons" (Which, I also recommend it for people who love to explore a whole different world).
Rob Reiner's truly nostalgic masterpiece that captures childhood, self-discovery, friendship and the strength to overcome our fears. Accompanied with summery, enjoyable 60's hits that you'll find yourself singing along with and humor too!
