Review of Stand by Me (1986) by Henry W — 03 Jun 2015
Very nostalgic. If you happened once to be kid with full of stories, this film resembles that one. The plot is very simple. These kids knew about what happened to the lost body of Ray Brower as they start searching it.
Stories, adventures, fun times with friends as along the way they encounter funny experiences as these 4 kids get along. It really reminds you as the kid you were, the adventures you went together. As this film is getting very nostalgic.
Amazing quality, brilliant performances and definitely a masterpiece that will be missed in today's generation. As the last line of words Will Wheaton quotes "I never had any friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve.
Jesus, does anyone?". A must watch and the blu-ray version is fantastic. Definitely a 5 out of 5 stars.
