Great uplifting true-life story about Latino maths teacher Jaime Escalante who takes on a class of tough East Los Angeles kids and helps them become the top scoring class in the US. Edward James Olmos is as brilliant as ever as Escalante as is Lou Diamond Phillips before his star bubble burst.
