Review of Stan & Ollie (2018) by Funkymonk — 19 Jan 2019
It's rare to see a movie where everyone gives fantastic performances. From Rufus Jones untrustworthy, deadpan tour manager to the bickering, protective wives. It's Coogan and Reilly who steal the show.
Both give nuanced performances that go beyond mere impressions of the duo. I'd be disappointed if both didn't receive Oscar nominations. Even if you're not a fan of Laurel and Hardy this is worth seeing.
