My favorite of the Bill Holden movies. This 'comedic' look at life in a German POW camp is a Billy Wilder classic. The supporting cast is terrific. If you haven't seen it think "Hogan's Heroes" with class, good acting, great direction, solid story, and comedy that's not hokey! Ok maybe the only similarity to "Hogan's Heroes" is the POW camp.
Anyhow, "Stalag 17" is an absolute classic.
