Review of Stake Land (2010) by Don W — 27 Aug 2011
Reminded me a lot of 28 Days Later - a very well filmed take on an established genre, at very little cost. It has characters and story that's far better than 90% of what Hollywood turns out, and disguises a lack of special effects with a bleak post-apocalyptic atmosphere.
Is Vampire movie a genre? If so, this is now one of the best.
