Miss-Stake - This is a cheap, awful mash-up of Zombieland, Walking Dead and The Road.

Straight into the action a boy has to take on and kill a zombie, well a man wearing a zombie mask at least. The film is thus a B Movie, cult attempt, looking dark, washed and cheap. America is like wasteland with a zombie slash cannibal slash vampire outbreak taking over most of the population.

A teenage lad teams up with a man (referred to as Mister) to learn about survival and become a killer's helper. They are both unlike-able and dense as they escape from and stake kill feasting, stupid zombie like cannibals, who walk on all fours. My immediate thoughts were this is a 'The Road' version of 'Zombieland' and that any episode of 'The Walking Dead' is miles better than this!

The story sees the uncharismatic pair arrive at a hostile Hick town whereby they run into a 'Brotherhood' gang. The pair have a battle with the leader, who predictably turns into a zombie. The boy also befriends a young girl. This is another gripe in that the extra characters introduced are also poor and shallow so do not add to the film, which attempts to become more heart-felt and humane and not just another horror outing.

As a horror and film fan I would suggest to avoid this film as it is nothing special and the other films I mention in this review are far better and this film simply nodes to them as inspiration for a fashionable cash in.
