Review of Stake Land (2010) by Andrej P — 11 Nov 2011

Finally a vampire movie with some bite, and not fluffed up for mindless teenagers. The vampires are strong, fast, viscious and very animal like. There are mutations amongst them too, and if that weren't enough, there is a religious Brotherhood crazying the place up.

The story follows Martin and Mister on their journey to New Eden (Canada). Some very interesting characters, but the movie is bleak and pretty sad seeing how society breaks down.
