Review of Stake Land (2010) by Elian D — 25 May 2012
The biggest shocker of this movie is realizing that Kelly McGillis -who I last saw in Top Gun- is a fifty-something years old woman.
Other than that, this is a pretty standard movie, with more gore than horror, to be honest.
The charachers are as real as you can get for this kind of film, and the script has a nice internal logic and the direction isn't bad, but its full of cliches, though there are a few surprises.
