Review of Stage Fright (2014) by Pablo G — 17 Apr 2014
This movie targets a very specific audience, and while the movie is not precisely bad, everything doesnt quite fit as expected. Maybe if it had more of an 80s vibe to it it would feel more logical and entretaining, but it kindof feels like a mashup of opinions coming from the creators, including musical numbers, metal, great violence, so-so story.
At the end Stage fright is not a bad movie, but it feels convoluted and it would almost be a mess if the movie took itself less seriously, but thanks to its "originality" and to its great production value it feels like something fairly new and violent, but it couldve been much more.
