Review of Stage Beauty (2004) by Cory T — 12 Jul 2007
Incredibly unconventional tale about the endings of tradition and the start of something new that could shake the foundations of The Stage forever... Women playing women. It is, of course, comparible to Shakespeare in Love, but nowhere even CLOSE to as good.
The best thing to take away from this movie, besides gawking at the angelic Claire Danes, is that love and acting are dangerous creatures in their own respects... mix them together... and some deadly poo's gonna go down.
