Enjoyed it. I wasn't sure what to expect really. I get a lot of movies for loan from the library and this one was an unexpected pleasure. A period piece with some history and interesting characters.
There was a time in England when women were not allowed on stage. All parts for women were played by men. I liked the cimaphotography and one the scences near the end was a clincher. Danes and Crudup do a fab job.
