Though it was nice to see Melissa McCarthy finally play a character that wasn't a crass buffoon, this movie lacked. I never felt anything for the characters. It was a good concept and the end was sweet but the middle needed more to pull you in and care about these characters and their story.
Also the trailers made this look like a comedy but it was not.
