Review of St. Vincent (2014) by Amy M — 25 Dec 2014
86% This is a fun and very charming Movie about a "dislikable" man named Vincent, who becomes close friends with a Small Boy living with his single Mother in their new Home, while Vincent dealing with other side issues like his Wife's Death.
Comedy Legend Bill Murray delivers in the role he was born to play, and gives out an extraordinary performance in one of Murray's best. The other key casting is the Young Jaeden Lieberher playing the role of Oliver. His performance was perfect, as he wasn't as other young Actors, he played deep in his role.
Naomi Watts is everywhere nowadays, and she does it again playing the role of a Russian Pregnant Stripper, perfectly. (She even got a Golden Globe Nod). (So did Murray).
Of course, McCarthy and O'Dowd were good too, and we have to give them credit.
Overall, this movie was a Great Film with a Great Message, that turned into one of the best Comedy's of 2014.
