Vincent (Bill Murray) is a grumpy old man who lives on his own with his wife in care when he unexpectedly get new neighbours who in the process of moving in damages some of his property. Maggie (Melissa McCarthy) is a single mother with long hours to work so she has to leave her son Oliver in the hands of Vincent where a friendship forms where Vincent teaches Oliver to look after himself, brings him to all his daily stops which includes a race track and a strip club and even got introduces to pregnant stripper Daka (Naomi Watts).
The film is a little sentimental but it has a good message aswell as being funny and heartwarming.
